when i try enlarge the text everything is out of my screen because it is like a pdf format not a textview

i bought the kindle version of this book. very hard to read because the letters are small. when i try enlarge the text everything is out of my screen because it is like a pdf format not a textview. and now when try to scroll down the page gets smaller because at the bottom of the screen another screen popup for me to be able to jump from page to page. all i want to do is read that current page which 2/3 of it is out of my view. What finally got me to write is because i spent hours trying to find my access code to companion website. I tried to contact the seller either by chat or phone (the 2 selections available), both selections lead to faq. Done and wasted 81 dollars.
