I think some of the concepts are little advanced for your average investor. Some of the deals that the author talks about are millions of dollars (and higher) and may seem a little daunting.

He is well rounded, direct and generous in his presentation both live and in his materials. Unlike many books on the market on the same or similar topic, Mr. Weiss's book outlines step by step what he has learned in decades in the business and how everyone from the amateur to the pro can apply them successfully. It is 37 pages of action packed steps on how to improve one's self, physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually speaking. Why is this English translation unique? There are three factors:

1.It is based ONLY on the oldest [i.e. earliest] available manuscripts, considering them as more reliable, than the younger, majority of manuscripts. This gives us an opportunity to take a step closer to what the original NT authors intended.
2.It was written with a Jewish pro-Torah bias, by an observant Jew residing in Jerusalem. It is therefore infused with truths that never compromise on the absolute oneness of the G-d of Israel, and His plan to provide a remedy for transgression, devoid of all forms of human sacrifice, so that mankind might draw closer to Him. No other Hebraically-grounded English translation ever produced, claims this unique perspective.
3.It was published from the Eternal city of Jerusalem, from where the Prophet predicts that “out from Tzion the Torah shall go forth, and out from Yerushalai’im, the Word of HaShem” [Yishaiyahu 2:3], No other English translation of an NT letter has been birthed out from such unique environs.
“The Kohein from Yehudah” seeks to expose deliberate efforts used to protect a host of biased Christian doctrines, made through subtle changes to the original Greek, as well as to later English renderings, which introduced Torah-prohibitive theology into key passages from the 4th to the 17th centuries CE.

The approach taken here should lead the reader into some startling insights, which may spark a firestorm over traditional theology. Many may find their doctrines and creeds shaken to the core, but uncovering a treasure penned orginally for Jews, by Jews, should be worth the discomfort. The journey may be challenging, but the destination is worth it!

“El Ha’Iv’rim” also answers life’s most perplexing question… “What lies beyond death’s door?” One read through will convince you of the original author’s determination to present a view, consistent with Torat-Moshe, as he stood in the gap to help us all prepare for the Olam Ha’Bah, information about which has always been scarce, leaving most in a vacuum of scepticism and haziness. But here, we are told how Mashiach in this age relates to “The Kohein from Yehudah” in the next, which was a certainty for Moshe, the Prophets and even Yeshua, as much as tomorrow’s rising sun is a certainty for us. What did these great men-of-old know, that we seem to have forgotten? “El Ha’Iv’rim,” comes to remind us of these things, after surviving from as early as 107 years after it was first penned, so that we can understand how things work in G-d’s universe, and what happens to everyone of us must pass through death’s door.

Critics may say that this translation is perverts the Word of G-d. To such, the author would respond with the words of Sha’ul…
“I trust in all things that are according to the Torah and that which came by the hand of the Prophets, which were written [beforehand]” —Acts 24:14.

The time has come for Jerusalem to take “El Ha’Iv’rim” back [home]! After all, it was addressed “El Ha’Iv’rim” [to the Hebrews], and not, “El Ha’Goyim.” Christianity has hijacked our text, and manipulated its message for too long, adding concepts our Torah knew nothing about. Today, a Torah-compliant Messianic hope is reborn. What does it say, and how does it sound? Perhaps it’s time to find out.

A completely different translation

This is a completely different translation of the "Letter to Hebrews". If true it will overturn centuries of church tradition.

Here is what I noticed at first read:

Pros:
1. A huge work to translate ancient Greek texts to Hebrew and then to modern English. Only a Hebrew thinking person that knows the ancient Hebrew writings as well ancient Greek, can do that.

2. Currently, the most ancient Greek texts (Papyri 46, Codex Sinaiticus and Netsle-Aland) are used in contrast with other English translations. It would be better if the new translation follows exactly the structure of ancient texts. This way we will know when some paragraph starts or ends. Current chapters and verses are not in the ancient texts.

3. There is a parallel comparison with another English translation, so those familiar with the traditional view can see the difference immediately.

Cons:
1. The name of the series "The End of a Messianic Lie" is really confusing. What Messianic lie it tries to end is not explained in the preface. It just points to anti-Semitic tradition that intertwine in current English translations. The chapter "Throwing out the baby with the bath water" speaks for this.

2. The second parallel English translation is named "Jesus from "Jamesville"", which most probably is KJV with a note of sarcasm. In my opinion, this has no place in academic works. Imagine what will happen if this is the only copy of KJV after 1500 years and people talk about some Jesus from ancient Jamesville, US.

3. There are some Hebrew words that are not translated, but just transliterated (i.e. "Kohein Gadol"). So, only a Hebrew speaking person could fully understand the translation.

4. Inconsistent commentaries in the brackets (which translate or explain the Hebrew words used in the book). In the beginning of preface we see that "Ha'Kadosh, Baruch Hu" is once translated [the G-d of Israel] and then [the Holy One, blessed be He]. If we don't see consistent translation of the same words then how could we trust the whole translation.

5. It would be fine to know which texts are from Papyri 46, Codex Sinaiticus and Netsle-Aland 27-28th edition. Also, the Netsle-Aland edition is not dated in preface.

In order to fully trust this translation, independent Bible scholars should made word by word analysis using the Papyri 46 texts.

The best English version of the Book of Hebrews EVER!

There are a great many translations of the NT including the Book of Hebrews. This ‘dynamic equivalence’ re-translation of Hebrews though is very different.

In re-translating from the earliest extant Greek manuscript available, Papyri 46, and with a great awareness and understanding of the Hebraic mindset of the author and the Hebrew audience he was addressing, the translator Uriel Ben Mordechai has removed the centuries of redactions and interpolations (editing) that was evident throughout the Book of Hebrews in all the English translations we have, and allowed the text to shine brighter and clearer than can be imagined.

It appears that the Papyri 46 version of Hebrews (dated to circa 170 CE) was very faithful to the Torah-centric mindset of the original autograph. Uriel and Adi have restored this foundation, and illuminated the text for English readers in a most impressive manner.

This should be the principal English version of Hebrews read and used, by all who place any importance at all on the message of the New Testament!

She earned an M.A. in Spanish literature and linguistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her Ph.D. in language and literacy from the University of California, Berkeley, focused on bilingual reading, second language acquisition, and language issues in American Indian education. Previously, Professor Peregoy taught ESL to adults.� She also taught primary grades in a Spanish-English bilingual education program, and directed a multicultural preschool program. Dr. Peregoy was active in writing California’s guidelines for preparing in-service teachers to work with English language learners. She has published articles on bilingual and second language literacy in the Journal of the National Association for Bilingual Education, The Reading Teacher, Canadian Modern Language Review, Educational Issues of Language Minority Students, Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences, and Theory into Practice. Dr. Peregoy is fluent in Spanish.

Owen Boyle is Professor Emeritus of Education, San Jose State University, where he coordinated the Bilingual and ESL Program, chaired the Language and Literacy Department, and headed the Reading Specialist Credential and M.A. programs in literacy. At San Jose State Professor Boyle taught courses in second language literacy, language acquisition and reading, multicultural literature, and reading assessment. He received his doctorate at the University of California, where he was Coordinator of the Learning from Text Program and researched and taught students. As Assistant Director of the Bay Area Writing Project (National Writing Project), Owen worked with teachers from all over the world including those from Germany, Panama, Alaska, and California. He served on the California State Superintendent’s panel that developed guidelines for preparing teachers of reading and was instrumental in developing a reading instruction test required for a California multiple subject teaching credential. He has published articles and research in Journal of Educational Issues of Language Minority Students, Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences, Bilingual Research Journal, Journal of the Association of Mexican-American Educators, Journal of College Reading and Learning, The Reading Teacher, and Reading Research and Instruction. He taught elementary and secondary school where he worked with second language learners for 12 years.

With contributions by Karen Cadiero-Kaplan, Professor at San Diego State University where she chairs the Department of Policy Studies in Language and Cross Cultural Education.� Dr. Cadiero-Kaplan’s publications cover literacy ideologies and practice, English language development, and bilingual education policy and practice. The biggest reason I love this book is because it is the same book as the later edition that I needed for school only difference is the chapter name changed a bit but same stuff. What was added was some examples (lack of a better word here) my instructor didn't use those. I really hate spending tons of money on books and I like keeping the ones solely related to my field like this one

Informative, but boring

This textbook was just ok. It was a bit dry and boring, but did provide a lot of information about ESL.
