Good guidelines on what to do after a disaster.

Though we live an area prone to disasters or not, survival techniques will always be useful, I believe. Most disasters are unpredictable, we may have high technology gadgets now which can detect typhoons and other calamities but being prepared will give us a better chance of surviving before, during and after the disaster.
This book gave tips and guidelines which are simple to do but most of the time overlooked like checking the utilities for example. Some of the guidelines provided are familiar but I really liked that the author explained each with good details and his idea about the matches is really smart! I never have thought of that, honestly.
This book certainly gave good guidelines on how to survive after a disaster. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in having the basic knowledge about surviving. Good read!

Excellent book!

This is one of the most useful book I have come across. It provides a lot of really good tips on how to survive with the choices you make such as food, your water, how and what to start a fire with and most importantly how to get rescued. One thing I love about this one is that it not only has great contents that I can't find on google but also comes in a very logical order which makes it surreal to read as if I'm going through a disaster. This is definitely the one I'll keep up on my shelf with a flashlight so I can follow it when natural disaster hits.

I think the author deserves an award for writing this book! This guide is very detailed and he left out nothing! I am grateful that my family has not been effected by any natural disasters. It is at times like these that we really see what and who is really important in our lives.
One of the first and important tips mentioned in the book is to ensure that yourself and family members are unharmed and if they are deal with their injuries first. Some people might ignore these matters but it is important to educate ourselves on the topic.
